During your initial consultation, one of the key focuses will be determining the implant size that best suits your body frame. This involves identifying a carefully selected range of sizes that complement your breast width and help achieve a natural, balanced appearance—an essential factor for optimal aesthetic and long-lasting results.
Beyond size, we will also assess the most suitable implant placement in relation to your chest muscle—whether positioned above or below the pectoralis major. Additional considerations include the implant’s surface texture (smooth or textured) and its shape (round or teardrop).
It is equally important to balance your desired implant size with your skin’s ability to accommodate it. For example, if your skin envelope is loose or droopy, an augmentation mastopexy may be recommended to lift and reshape the breast. Alternatively, you may choose to avoid implants altogether and consider lipomodelling fat grafting. In some cases, a combination of these techniques can provide the most harmonious and natural-looking result.
