Procedure
Labiaplasty can be performed using different techniques, such as wedge resection or trimming, depending on the patient’s individual needs and aesthetic goals. Recovery time varies with the extent of the procedure, but most patients can return to work and daily activities within a few days. Sexual activity and strenuous exercise should be avoided for at least four to six weeks following surgery.
As with any surgical procedure, labiaplasty carries potential risks and complications, including bleeding, infection, scarring, and nerve injury.
